The Folk Education Association of America often gets calls from journalists and magazine writers wanting more information about the history of folk schools and the emergence of new folk schools.  Elizabeth White, a master's degree student from Syracuse University's Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism program contacted the FEAA/FSA in May in preparation for a capstone project.  The resulting online magazine issue was published in September.  More than other articles recently written about the modern folk school movement, White's article gets it right.  Read the full article by clicking the link below.
