Description
Happiness Hills Farm in the pinnacles area of Kentucky near Berea, is an ideal place to refresh your spirit and reconnect to God, nature and each other. We offer folk education experiences such as weekend blacksmithing workshops, weekly music and art sessions, and a 10-week "Learning for Life" session. Happiness Hills is also ideal for reunions, retreats or meetings, and as a base for visiting sites in Kentucky, touring Appalachian craft studios, hiking or just enjoying a vacation away from noise and stress. Our lodging structures offer comfortable beds and welcoming shared spaces, and the 80-acre farm includes a lake where fishing is permitted for guests(license required), a creek with minnows and crawdads, a campfire area, and fields for outdoor activities. A large remodeled tobacco barn is perfect for group activities under roof, and a memorial chapel offers space for quiet reflection.
