Join the FEAA as we talk with a panel of community singers and folk education leaders about the benefits and challenges of bringing community singing traditions to a folk school / folk education organization. With decades of experience, Liz Rog of Center for Belonging Folk School will share her knowledge of bringing groups of folks together in song, and how the Folk Education Network Grant Project’s Singing and Songleading in Folk Schools project has demonstrated the ability to utilize the power of song in a folk school environment. This panel of folk education leaders will represent a range of folk education styles and approaches to song carrying, and will be sure to offer valuable insight to all who attend. Learn best practices, helpful tools and resources, including a dive into Liz Rog’s foundational new publication ‘The Song Carrier Toolkit’.
This webinar will be recorded and available to all registered attendees for a limited time after the date of recording.
